Tim Plowman Selected as AIChE Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer National Scholarship Recipient

Selections have been made by the Student Chapters Committee of AIChE for the Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer National Scholarship for the 2004-2005 academic year. Tim Plowman was one of ten recipients in the nation for this scholarship. The award consists of a $1000 check to assist in the cost of chemical engineering education. Selection was based on academics, enthusiasm in the involvement of AIChE activities, as well as chemical engineering career plans. A nomination from the AIChE Student Chapter Advisor was also an important consideration in the selection of the winning candidates.
 

Recognition for the scholarship will take place at the 2003 Annual Student Conference in Austin, TX during Student Awards Brunch on Sunday, November 7, from 10:30-noon.
