Sundar Madihally Selected as 2006 Omega Chi Epsilon Outstanding ChE Professor

The students in the OSU ChE honorary society, Omega Chi Epsilon, choose Dr Sundar Madihally as the 2006 Outstanding Professor.   

“Dr. Sundar” is the AIChE student chapter advisor, and under his guidance the students earned another national “Outstanding” rating and hosted the 2006 Regional Student Chapter Conference.   Sundar advises the student participants in the chemical reaction powered car competition, and our teams placed first in each of the past three regional conferences.  Last year they placed second in the national competition, and that team ended up taking 6^th in the world competition in Malaysia.   In addition, Sundar regularly employs undergraduates in his research, many of whom win national awards. 

And, if your hand is fresh, you can write fast enough to keep up with him in the first five minutes of lectures!

 Congratulations Sundar, you should be honored like a championship winning coach.
