OSU ChE Students Win Second at
National ChemE Car competition
At the
American Institute of Chemical Engineers National conference in
Cincinnati, Ohio, OSU competed against 28 other teams in a
chemically powered model car contest and placed second.
The car had to carry 300mL of water and go 78ft. Our team (Paul
Engel, Murtaza Gulamhusein and Tyler Langley) placed second by
stopping only 8 inches from the target distance. They were
beat out by Tennessee Tech which stopped only one inch from the
line.
