News from Chemical Engineering

In 1986, Professor Robert N. Maddox established an endowment to recognize students who excelled in the capstone chemical engineering design courses.  The recipients are selected based on “Demonstrated Proficiency in the Conceptual Design and Economic Evaluation of Chemical Processes.” 

The 2003 recipients are:

Kyle Sharon, winner of 1st place R.N. Maddox Design Award

Dr. Karen High presents Jill Long with the 2nd Place R.N. Maddox Design Award

2nd Place – Jill Long ($250 cash award

Dr. Karen High presents Todd Crisp with the 3rd Place R.N. Maddox Design Award

3rd Place –Todd Crisp ($150 cash award)
