Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. LP
Sponsors 2003 ChemE Car Competition at OSU
We greatly appreciate the $10,000 check from Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, which will sponsor the 2003 chemical reaction powered car competition at Oklahoma State University.

One photo shows Gary Allen, Chevron Phillips Plant Manager, presenting the check to Russ Rhinehart, School Head. They are flanked by faculty advisors for the student competitors, Randy Lewis and Sundar Madihally. The other photo shows Mr. Allen, Randy and Sundar, along with Bill Beaulieu, Chevron Philips Technical Manager and three ChE student competitors, Katie Krueger, Angela Pantelogianis, and Becky Merritt. Several cars from the 2002 competition are on the table in front of them
The ChemE Car Competition offers students a chance for creative, hands-on integration of many ChE principles, within a stimulating competition, which also has great spectator appeal. It provides a strong compliment for our educational mission. We are very pleased that Chevron Phillips Chemical Company will be sponsoring the 2003 competition at OSU, and anticipate that this partnership will have a substantial beneficial impact on education at OSU as well as on-campus appreciation and visibility for Chevron Phillips.
